| Andy, the highlight of 2011 for me and Lendved family and friends was your band playing at their homestead to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on May 21 of 2011. Wanted you to know how much we all enjoyed it. If I had not been traveling out to the Wallowa Mts of the Eagle Cap Wilderness in Oregon near Hells Canyon to commune with a herd of llamas in August, I would`ve joined my sister and friends at the Nau-ti-gal when you played for customer appreciation day. Fortunately I was in a cell phone area and she called so I could listen to a few of your tunes from afar! Another 2011 highlight. You make a huge difference in so many lives, thank you for that. | I finally got out to see Andy and Mel last Thursday with my wife. We were due for some good music and I knew where to go. I had know Andy and Donna for quite some time don`t go there! and was floored to see that I had known Mel as well for a considerable chronological distance. Mel had mentioned he played guitar when I saw him at the shop one day, but was blown away by Andy`s and his skill and energy at the Hody. I recommend it to one and all!!

Hope everything is going well with you and the band. It was really great to see you again at the Beloit Riverfest.
The reason I`m writing you is because Jeanns and I would like to invite you to come to her fundraiser which includes agencys such as the United Way, Epilepsy Foundation, Kandu and 5 others. We are not asking you to perform but just want you to come as our guest to see in person a young kid I have talked about to you in the past. At the time you were unaware of him but since his appearance on America Has Talent that may have changed. His name is Tallan Latz and he is a 9-year old Blues protigy that actually started playing at the tender age of 5. Jeanns and I had the honor of seeing him play at the Broken Spokes in Darien when he was 7. Andy, this kid is nothing short of phenomonal. Check him out on Youtube.com and you will see what I mean. Jeanns has arranged for him and his band to provide the entertainment at the fundraiser. The date will be on 8/29/09 at the Holiday Express in Janesville. I will have more information later for you if you decide to come.
I know what a busy guy you are and chances are you are probably booked for that day but we would sure enjoy having you come.

After listening to your first, live CD I had no doubt that you guys are a super-tight band. Now, with two more albums, that impression continues. Your harmonica playing brings to mind images off all those harp masters – your tone is fat and juicy, your phrasing is memorable and your playing is overall imaginative. It goes great with Mel’s guitar licks. But there is not a single weak point in your band and all your albums prove that. What you guys did in this 10-minute instrumental called “Lip Service” is unbelievable – this is one of the best harp instrumentals I’ve ever heard! Congratulations.
I can’t wait for my listeners to get to know your stuff – they’ll be amazed just like I am. I will keep you up to date with my playlists and Living Blues reports.
